RESOURCES

Prayer is our most valuable resource.  More than anything, we need partners who will commit to praying for us, for our team, and for the nation of New Zealand.  At times, this new ministry will be difficult, exhausting, and discouraging – your prayers are needed to help keep us going, and to help the people of New Zealand hear our message with open ears and open hearts.

We have a current list of prayer requests to the left.  Check back often for updates.  We ask you to commit to praying for these requests one to two times a week, and whenever else you feel encouraged to do so.  You can also use the following Scriptures as a starting point:

Isaiah 56:6-7

And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant - these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer.  Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.

Matthew 21:22

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

Romans 12:12

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

2 Corinthians 9:14

And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.

Ephesians 6:18

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert, and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Colossians 1:10, 4:2

And we pray this in order that you may live your life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God...

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 3:1-2

Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.  And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.

1 Timothy 2:8

I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.

James 5:15-16

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.  If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.  Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

1 Peter 4:7

The end of all things is near.  Therefore, be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
